To sign up or to learn more about the program, please visit www.mythinkingday.com,  click on the "Where are you?" link and fill out the registration form.

The exchange will begin the first part of September. Please spread the word about the project to those in your councils and any others around the world.

March 14
Setup at 7:30am
Westridge Breakroom

Westridge Teacher Appreciation Breakfast Email Kitti or contact her by phone at 703-670-4196.

March is Girl Scout month. At Westridge, the Girl Scouts host a breakfast at the school as a thank you for all of the support we get from the entire staff at Westridge. We set up a buffet style breakfast in the break room and hang posters from troops around the room. We ask that each troop contribute what they can. Feel free to put this out to your parents. We put out a copy of the recipes for the staff, just in case they would like a copy. This went over very well last year!

To coordinate and ensure we get a good variety of things, please email Kitti with what your troop will provide for the breakfast. This is an optional thing but the more troops that participate, the easier it is for all of us. Kitti needs to have a list of everyone contributing and what they are contributing by March 5.

Here are the basics:

When - Wednesday, March 14 setup at 7:30
Where - Westridge ES - breakroom
Why - to thank the staff for allowing us to use the facilities and for everything else!
Who - all Westridge troops

Last year the biggest hits were the fresh fruit and the quiches (Susan DeSorbo's quiche was a huge hit with many teachers making copies of the recipe). Muffins with assorted jellies and other breakfast type foods are always great. If someone has an "in" with Dunkin Donuts, it would be great if we could get the coffee donated or at a reduced price.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Kitti by email or by phone at 703-670-4196. Thanks in advance for all of your help with this!

Yours in Girl Scouting,
Kitti
