Teen Scouts - get the 411!

Have you ever wondered where Girl Scouts will take you? Well imagine snorkeling with sea lions, going backstage at a Broadway show or surfing the waves in Costa Rica….and that’s just the beginning! This is your chance to connect with Girl Scouts from all over the country! There are 2-4 day trips called “Getaways” that don’t require applications as well as incredible week or longer destinations trips that do require an application. Girls 11 and older are eligible. GSCNC will send your application to the appropriate trip sponsor. Please have all applications in to GSCNC by November 15th. SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

Dale City Volunteer Fire Department is always recruiting for new members. They can be as young as 16. The department will pay for all training for the new member and all uniforms that are required. It is a good opportunity for service to the community and teaches responsibility and ethics. If any one is interested taking a tour and talking with some of the Upper-Level Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, and Paramedics, email Stephanie Cuccherini.
